What’s in a winter service?
Every boat is different, so we tailor the service to your engine and situation. A standard winter service for an inboard diesel includes:
- Replace engine oil and oil filter
- Replace fuel filter and water separator
- Check gearbox oil
- Flush cooling system and fill with antifreeze
- Inspect or replace the impeller
- Inspect V-belts and hoses
- Lay up the engine, seal intake and exhaust
- Charge and disconnect the batteries
- Drain fresh water, toilet and pump
- Short report with advice for the spring

Which engine makes do you work on?
All well-known makes: Yanmar, Volvo Penta, Nanni, BUKH, Vetus, Steyr, Mercruiser, Mitsubishi, Iveco, Solé, FNM and more — diesel and petrol, inboard and outboard.
Do you come to my berth?
Yes. With our fully equipped service van we work across the country — from Zeeland to Friesland and Flevoland, and on board in Rotterdam and Antwerp.
When is Henry at Marnemoende?
Usually on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The rest of the week we’re on location. Call ahead to be sure we’re in.
Will I know the cost in advance?
Yes. We diagnose first and then give you a price indication or quote before any work begins.
Can I order Alamarin parts from you?
Certainly. Anodes, V-belts, O-rings and more — the most common parts are in stock. Send us your waterjet’s serial number and we’ll look up the right part.
